ECO DYEING WORKSHOP
Interested in capturing natures shapes?
Be inspired by our surrounds and the alchemy of natural dyeing. In this fun workshop you will create an eco bundle wool scarf in readiness for winter. Wool scarf, leaves, botanicals are all supplied.
About Wendi
Wendi Trulson is a talented texile artist with a few prizes for her works in recent times. Living at Beechmont, she loves Open spaces, clean air, chooks and a vege patch. She has a great passion for textiles, food gardens/ cooking and community. Using mostly, silk, wool, paper and botanicals, Wendi creates beautiful pieces of fabric and clothing.
When
Saturday 18th April 2015. The class runs for 5 hours from 9.30am to 2.30pm, and includes a herb inspired lunch. Try to arrive 10minutes prior to have a cuppa and settle in.
Cost
$95 this includes a booklet of class notes.
What to bring
closed in shoes. You can also bring along some coloured scraps of silk (sari silk is good or an old scarf you don't mind cutting up and cotton and silk threads.
