Fennel seeds are used to flavour bread, biscuits, sausages, stuffings, curry blends and to season meats.
Fennel seeds can be used as an infusion to relieve bloating, gas, and stomach pain. Stimulates digestion.
Increases milk production in breast feeding mothers. Gripe water that relieves colic and griping is made from fennel.
Other Uses
Fennel adds its aniseed flavour to sambucca and other liqueurs. It is also used in toothpaste, soaps, air fresheners and perfumes.
