Botanical Name: Capsicum annuum
The variety of this black chilli is 'Black Pearl'. The plant grows to approx 65cm is compact and very ornamental.
The leaves are black and the fruit starts black and ripens to red.

Please bear in mind that chillies cross pollinate easily, so sometimes you can get variations in the level of heat of each chilli on one plant if they cross with a different variety growing nearby.
